Betty Covemaker Obituary
Betty Jane Covemaker, 91, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., 1902-3rd Avenue, East Moline. There will be a visitation one hour before services.
Betty was born August 8, 1927 in Athen Township Bradford County, PA the daughter of William B. Ruff and Tessie Hoover. She married Charles E. Covemaker, May 1, 1948 in Athens Township Bradford County, PA.
Betty was a bartender for 35 years at Harley’s. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, reading, and playing “31”.
She is survived by daughters; Linda (Preston) Le Maire, Colona, Kathryn (Ricky) Masias, Moline; son, Frederick Covemaker, Moline; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and numerous step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, three sisters, and daughter, Sharon Peden.
