Bruce Brion Brassfield

Bruce B. Brassfield, 55, of Carbon Cliff, IL passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at his home.

There will be no services.  Cremation rites have been accorded. 

Bruce was born February 27, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri; the son of Ernest Melvin Brassfield and Aileen M. Bowling.  Bruce was educated in Kansas City, MO. He owned Rock Hard Concrete.  Bruce was a concrete finisher for over 30 years.  He truly enjoyed his job.  

Bruce was known to be a story teller; he could tell over a 1000 wild stories.  His greatest love was spending time and watching his grandchildren.  Bruce was a big Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Cubs fan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Brad (Amanda) Brassfield, East Moline, Benjamin Brassfield (Alicia Hartzell), East Moline, Brittany Brassfield (Tyler Bennett), East Moline, Josh (Breanna) Belville, Davenport, and Brady Brassfield, Davenport; 13 grandchildren; and sister, Sherri (Dan) Downing, Silvis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Steve Van De Walle.
