Gloria Molina, 73, of East Moline, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Hope Creek Care, East Moline.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, November 12, at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., 1902-3rd Avenue, East Moline. A rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. The funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Gloria was born January 31, 1945, in Crystal City, Texas, the daughter of Margarito Pena and Concepcion Garza Pena.
Gloria worked as a laborer at Norcross, last working in 2007. Gloria LOVED bingo. In her earlier years she was an avid basketball player. She also enjoyed playing softball and bowling.
Survivors include her children, sons; Frank (Amy) Ochoa, East Moline, Andy Ochoa, Moline, and Mike (Tara) Ochoa, Colona, daughter; Susana (Victor) Barrera, East Moline; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; brothers, Adrian (Mary) Pena, East Moline, Pedro (Christine) Pena, Moline, and Ruben (Rosemary) Pena, Milan; sisters, Francisca Ochoa, Mason City, IA, and Herminia (Ernesto) Montez, East Moline.
She was preceded in death by her father, Margarito Pena, her mother, Concepcion Pena, her son, Robert Ochoa, 2 siblings, and a grandson.
