Guelda "GiGi" Beth (Gooding) Reynolds

Guelda “GiGi” Beth Reynolds, 86, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 19, at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., 1902-3^rd Avenue, East Moline. Pastor Chet McCoy will officiate.   Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, February 18, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Hampton Township Cemetery, Hampton.  Memorials may be made to Hampton Grace Methodist Church or the Hampton Historical Society. 

Guelda was born on October 18, 1932, in Seymour, IA, the daughter of Ellis and Wilma Miller Gooding. She married Michael Reynolds on August 11, 1967 in Hampton. 

Guelda, in her early years, was an actress in Chicago thru the Goodman Theater. She was the town seamstress; she did all kinds of alterations.   Guelda was a member of Hampton Grace Methodist Church and the Hampton Historical Society.  She enjoyed church activities and friends.  She was very close to her family; her grandchildren were very special.

Those left to cherish her memories are daughters; Julie Reynolds, Silvis, Lisa Reynolds, Hampton, and Lindsay Roisen (fiance Larry Owens), Davenport, grandchildren; Joey Coronado, Hampton, Ewan Roisen, Davenport, and Claire Roisen, Daveport; siblings Linda Sullivan, Rock Island, and Alan (Carole) Gooding, Sycamore, IL; brother-in-law, Monty Pollner, New Boston, and sister-in-law, Lillian Hoff, IN and her in home care taker, Sharon Andrews

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Scott Reynolds, siblings, J. Ellison Gooding, Ansel Gooding, and Nelda Pollner.
