Joseph A. De Graeve

Joseph A. De Graeve, 82, of Moline, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at his home.

There will be no services.  Joseph has donated his body to the University of Iowa.

Joseph was born June 25, 1936, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Maurice De Graeve and Mary De Voss De Graeve. Joseph was a graduate of United Township High School, class of 1954.   He married Theresa Duffy, October 9, 1965 in St James Church, Perris, CA.  Joseph worked for thirty years, retiring 1992, as an assembler at Case IH, East Moline.  He was a member of the Local 1304 and a Navy veteran.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. 

Joseph enjoyed building model planes and attending air shows.  He enjoyed working in his yard and reading.  His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Theresa, Moline; son, Joseph M. (Mindy) De Graeve, Normal, IL; grandchildren, Madeline Noelle De Graeve, and Hayden De Graeve, Normal, IL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandson, Ian Joseph De Graeve.
