Susan Brems Obituary
Susan Leigh Taylor Brems, born an angel on August, 8th 1990 in Peoria, IL., along with her triplet brother Ryan Tony and sister Debbie.
Susan Brems passed away Friday April 18th, 2014 at her home in Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 4:00 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline, with services on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Pastor Daniel Iwinski will officiate. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
Susan was a rare and special gift to all who knew and loved her. Even though she was born with numerous medical challenges, she had an extraordinary zest for life which she lived to the fullest.
Susan graduated from Blackhawk Educational Center in Moline, IL., in May of 2012.
Her Family wishes to especially thank the many in home nurses, doctors, staff at the University of Iowa Childrens Hospital and all the caregivers who so lovingly cared for Susan over the past 23 years.
Susan will be greatly missed by her parents, Mike & Judy Brems, brothers, Steven Shadden of Colorado Springs, Co, Joe Shadden, of Colona, IL, Louis (Beth) Brems, of Rock Island, IL, Ryan Tony Brems, of Rock Island, IL, sisters, Kelly Brems of Grand Rapids, MI, Julie Cook, of Rock Island, IL and Debbie Brems of Rock Island, IL.
Susan is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leo and Charlotte Lock and a very special friend Lynn Lucas.
Memorials maybe made to the family.
The family invites you to join them in a celebration of Susans life at a pot luck at the Eagles Club at 5103 11th Street Rock Island, IL, immediately following the funeral. Please bring a dish to share.
