Alice Korthals Obituary
Alice "Peachy" M. Korthals, 74, of East Moline, passed Saturday, July 14, 2018, at her home.
Visitation will be 10:00- 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline. Inurnment will follow at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Amvets.
Alice was born on July 13, 1944 in Moline, the daughter of Jess Willard Davis and Marie Carlile Davis.
Alice was a homemaker. Some of her greatest joys were cooking, camping, and bird watching. She loved to laugh and be the joker. She fostered many children over the years. Her family was the center of her life.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeanette Strohbehn, Moline, sons; Michael Korthals, Lebanon, MO, John Korthals, Clinton, IA, Dean "Tony" (Wendy) Korthals, East Moline; brothers Jerry (Vicky) Davis, East Moline, Ronald Davis, East Moline; sister, Terry (Victor) Dzekunskas, Colona, and special partner, Dennis Larrison, East Moline.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles, brothers; Larry, Bob, and Jess Davis.
