Anna Phelps Obituary
Anna M. Phelps, 56, of Silvis, Illinois, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2014, 4:00 8:00 p.m. at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline, with services on Saturday, November 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Silvis. Fr. Chase will officiate.
Anna was born December 5, 1957 in Moline, the daughter of Jose Tapia and Lucy DeLaRosa. She was a barmaid at Jims Dominos Lounge in East Moline until March of 2014. She enjoyed cooking for everybody and loved her grandkids and family. Anna was a loving person who held no grudges against anyone and a friend to everyone. She was a good listener and will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by her mother, Lucy DeLaRosa, East Moline, daughters, Desilena Phelps and Reed Mayfield, Minneapolis, MN, Myella Phelps and Lamont Johnson, East Moline, Joyce (Brandon) Clemens, Moline, Shetara Carr, Carbon Cliff, brothers, Joe (Yolanda) Tapia Jr., Jacksonville, FL, John (Candice) Tapia, Highland Ranch, CO, Mark (Laura) Tapia, East Moline, Troy (Chocos) Tapia, and Rosalie Tapia, both of East Moline, sisters, Melinda (Rick) Jimenez, Lisa Anderson, Valerie (Sam) Benjamin, all of Davenport, grandchildren, Xavianna, Jayvonda, Marcellous, Zhanelle, Brandon, Rickya, Kaleha, Jayceon, and Aamir, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, father, Jose Tapia, 4 uncles and 4 grandchildren
