Anna Williams Obituary
Anna Ann Lucille Williams, 80, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, December 03, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 11:00 12:00 p.m. at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline, IL. At 12:30 p.m. we will process to Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Rev. Scott Culley will officiate.
Anna was born November 14, 1934, Georgetown, KY, the daughter of David Anderson and Loretta Mason McIntyre. She married Robert Williams who preceded her in death April 1999. She was a bus monitor for Project Now for 10 years, retiring in 2012.
Anna was a role model who loved working with children. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading romance novels. She loved people and will be missed by her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Veronica Brackins, Teresa (Roosevelt) Foreman, both of Lansing, MI, Janice Coney, Minneapolis, MN, Sheryl Bowie, Union City GA, sons, Rodney Williams, Omaha, NE, Joel Williams, Lexington, KY, granddaughter, Tomeka Coe, whom she raised, Bloomington-Norman, IL, 24 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren, sisters, Alice Nichole, St. Louis, MO, Gloria (Harry James) Wilson, Marilyn Hawkins, and brother, Wallace McIntyre, all of Georgetown, KY, and sister-in-law, Ella McIntyre, Lansing, MI.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Pam, and brothers, Richard and Charles McIntyre.
