Anthony Grumadas

Anthony Grumadas, Jr., 86, of East Moline, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis.

There will be no services.  Cremation rites will be accorded.

Anthony Grumadas was born December 14, 1936 in Moline, Illinois: the son of Anthony Charles and Dora May (Brusso) Grumadas. He married Leilani J. Sullivan October 28, 1961 in Silvis, Illinois.  Anthony worked in machine repair with Case IH, retiring in 1998. 

He enjoyed CB and ham radios.   He really enjoyed motorcycles although he didn’t ride them.  In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and country music. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years,  Leilani Grumadas, East Moline, his children, Tina Marie (Richard) Grumadas Gant, East Moline, Theresa (Michael) Spah, East Moline, and Walter Grumadas, East Moline, his daughter-in-law, Tina Martinez Grumadas, East Moline, his grandchildren, Anthony Grumadas IV,  April Grumadas, Adam Grumadas, Tyara Grumadas, Taloni Grumadas, Leilania Moneymaker, Taleana Grumadas, Tyler Grumadas, and Mikayla Spah, 19 great-grandchildren,  one great-great-grandchild, his siblings, Doris Grumadas,  East Moline, Judy Dawson, East Moline, and Diane Wilson, Rock Island.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Anthony III, his granddaughters, April Lynn Grumadas and Taloni Grumadas and her baby, and 7 siblings.
