April Hopkins Obituary
April L. Hopkins, 54, of Cordova, IL, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, IA. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cordova Baptist Church, Cordova, IL, with Pastor John Kress officiating. Burial will follow services to Cordova Cemetery.
April was born April 30, 1960 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Harold and Cherrie (Crosby) Stephens. She was a home health aid with Genesis Visiting Nurses in Davenport. April loved gardening and yard work. She enjoyed all kinds of games and spending time with family. Her grandkids were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her daughters, Cherish (Brian) Saathoff, Cordova, IL, Cassie Hopkins, Carbon Cliff, IL, life partner of 17 years, Jef Farley and his son, Tyler, grandchildren, Alexis, Aiden, Malia, and grandson on the way, brothers, Carl (Sue) Stephens, Morrison, IL, William (Rhonda) Stephens, Erie, IL, sisters, Dianna Remour, Albany, IL, Rose (Randy) Huizenga, Port Byron, IL, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nephew and a great great nephew.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Deborah Aude and brother-in-law, Boyd.
