Belinda Jones Obituary
Belinda Jean Jones, 61, of Davenport, IA, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Rock Island Nursing and Rehab Center, Rock Island. Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, 10:00 11:00 a.m. at Progressive Baptist Church, 1302 E. 12th Street, Davenport, IA with services following at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Stanley Moore will officiate. Burial is in the Riverside Cemetery following services.
Belinda was born March 1, 1951 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of James and Lillie Mae (Brent) Campbell. Belinda married Michael on September 30, 1969. She was a chef in several restaurants in the Quad Cities. Belinda enjoyed bingo and playing the lottery. She loved being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Belinda is survived by her husband, Michael, Chicago, IL, son, Edward Jones, Davenport, IA, daughters, LaShawn (Wendell Jr.) Peterson, Matteson, IL, Zenetta Jones, Bettendorf, IA, mother, Lillie Mae Brent, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brothers, Alexander, Sterling, Thomas, Randy, sisters, Deborah, Charlotte, Denise, Robin, and special friend, Edward Williams, with a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, brother, Gerald, and son, Darryl.
