Bernadine Larkey Obituary
Bernadine Louise Larkey, 90, lf Silvis, IL, died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Aspen Rehab and Healthcare Center, Silvis. Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2014, 10:00 11:00 a.m. at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd. East Moline, with Services following at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Larry Powell will officiate. Burial will be at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport, IA.
Bernadine was born March 31, 1924, Preston, IA, the daughter of Lloyd O. and Margaret E. (Deaton) Skinner. She married Donald P. Larkey on Dec. 31, 1954 in Davenport
who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a domestic worker and cleaned various homes, businesses and hospitals retiring in 1985.
Bernadine was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in East Moline. She enjoyed cooking, embroidery and in earlier years, gardening.
She is survived by her son, Lloyd Paul Larkey, and several cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
