Beth Ann Neal

Beth A. Neal, 66, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Nursing and Rehab, Rock Island, Illinois.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2024 at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline.  Visitation will be two hours prior to services.  Pastor Scott Culley will officiate.  Burial will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Beth Ann Neal was born July 30, 1957 in Moline, Illinois; the daughter of Charles “Buck” and Joyce Marie (Walker) Neal.  She is a graduate of Black Hawk Special Education School, East Moline.  Beth was employed by ARC of Rock Island in the flower room, Lagomarcinos, Moline, she assisted where needed, and Goodwill, Moline, doing miscellaneous jobs.  She loved country music, “Elvis” and dancing.  Beth enjoyed arts and crafts and playing bingo.  Beth’s nieces and nephews and their children were very special to her.  Some highlights in her life were yearly trips to Florida to visit her sister, Dolores, a trip to the Grand Ole Opry, and a cruise to the Bahamas.  Beth will be dearly missed by her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Sandy Wheeler, Rock Island, and Charlotte Ramos, Silvis, and many nieces and nephews,  special friends, Scott Adams and Christy Koontz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Dolores Kaplan, her brothers, Wayne Neal and Robert Neal Sr. and her niece, Valerie Razo.
