Brian Carroll (Wyant) Morris

Brian C. Morris, 65, of East Moline, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 at his mother’s home.

There will be no services.  Cremation rites have been accorded.

Brian Carroll Morris was born September 13, 1958 in Moline, Illinois; the son of Norman Carroll and Thelma Arlene (Peterson) Morris.  He was a 1976 graduate of United Township High School, East Moline and Black Hawk College.  Brian last worked in 2021 as a County assessor for South Moline Township. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing computer games. Earlier, Brian enjoyed sharing his home with his nephew, Evan, and friends.  He enjoyed watching sports especially the Bears and the Cubs.  Brian was an avid watcher of news and current events. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Thelma Morris, East Moline, his sister, Judith (David) Townsend, Aurora, Illinois, his nephews, Evan Bruce, Hampton, Illinois, and Ethan (Amanda) Bruce, Durand, Illinois, and his great nephew, Lucas Early, Coal Valley, and his great niece, Kaia Bruce, Hampton, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Morris, grandparents, Frank and Emma Peterson, and Naomi and Leslie Morris.
