Charles Price Obituary

Charles "Bud" Edward Price, Sr., 79, of East Moline, died July 17, at home.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd, East Moline. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at the funeral home. Pastor D. of Calvary Church of The Quad Cities will officiate.
Bud was born August 11, 1935 in Lebanon, IN, the son of the late Carl and Myrtle Price. He married Elizabeth "Liz" Mae McClaine on August 8, 1955, in Colfax, IN. She preceded him in death, April 9, 2005.
He was employed at Steiner-Skelly for 20 years. He owned and operated the A&P Auto Repair. Bud retired from Crimmins Transfer. Bud served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He loved driving stock cars for many years at the Rock Island County Fairgrounds, Davenport, and Blue Grass. Bud enjoyed fishing, hunting watching Nascar racing and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid listener of WLLR.
He is survived by sons: Chuck (Chris) Price, Port Byron, and Bill (Sharon)Price, East Moline, daughters: Glenda(Jeff)Clark, East Moline, Peggy(Larry)Weimer, Puryear, TN, and Marcia Price, East Moline, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, brothers Ronald Price, TN, Donald Price, and Richard Price, Streator, IL and sisters Norma Arnold, East Moline, Donna (Greg) Blackmer, Rock Island, Sharon Kay (Kent) Perkins, Barstow, Brenda Duckett, MS, Kathy Houseal, OH. He preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brothers, John " Jack" Price, Carl Price Jr., Russell Price, sister Carol Anderson, grandsons Charles "Chucker" Price and Adam Weimer.
