Charles Jeff Jeffrey Tarkington

Charles Jeff Jeffrey Tarkington, 53, of Milan, IL, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at his home. His visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 4:00 6:00 p.m. at The Apostolic Sanctuary, Silvis, with services following at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Gary Randol will officiate. Burial will be on Friday, September 27, 2013, 9:00 a. m. at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline, is handling arrangements.

Jeff was born March 31, 1960 in Fulton, Kentucky, the son of Charles Eugene and Barbara Jean (Hendon) Tarkington. He married Debbie Pairrett on July 10, 1982 in Silvis. He was a truck driver for 9 years. He was a member of The Apostolic Sanctuary. Jeff enjoyed fishing, camping and loved anything outdoors. He was a diehart Greenbay Packers fan.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie, son, Charles Jeffrey Tarkington II, Moline, IL, daughter, Cassandra (Adam) Underwood, and granddaughter, Genessa, Ankeny, IA, brother, Wayne (Julie) Tarkington, Geneseo, IL, sister, Karen (Bill) Sanders, Colona, IL and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Theresa Tarkington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
