Christine Zimmerman Obituary
Christine Ann Zimmerman, 45, of Davenport, IA died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Manorcare Health Services, Davenport. Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be a one hour visitation at 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 and memorial service following at Homewood Evangelical Free Church, 3303 60th Street, Moline. Pastor Mark Frazee will officiate. Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline is assisting the family.
Christine was born September 9, 1968 in Moline, the daughter of Larry H. and Linda L. McMurl Murphy. She was a manager at Kwik Stop for 10 years. Christine never knew a stranger and she was a kind hearted soul who loved to help people. She loved to cook and enjoyed doing crafts. She enjoyed racing cars and won a feature race in Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by her parents, Larry and Linda, Moline, brother, David (Debi) Murphy, CA, sister, Sue McQuitty, nieces, Maddy and Loryn McQuitty, all of Colona, IL, 6 aunts, 4 uncles and grandmother, Frances Brown. She is preceded in death by 2 grandfathers and a grandmother.
