Dana Jo (Cooper) Lewis

Dana Jo Lewis, 56, of Geneseo, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

Private funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 11, at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., 1902-3^rd Avenue East Moline.  A visitation will be 1:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10 at the funeral home. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, mask will be required at all times, and social distancing will be enforced.  Memorials can be made to Diabetes Association.

Dana Jo Cooper was born Mar 30, 1964 in Moline; the daughter of Gerald Cooper and Mearlene (Olsen) Cooper.  Dana was a graduate of United Township High School Class of 1982.  She married John L. Lewis IV July 4, 2002 in Jupiter, Florida.  From this union was born her beloved daughter, Skylar Lewis May 6, 2004.  Dana last worked for Hometown Express, Geneseo. 

Dana enjoyed sharing family life at home.  Her friends were special to her. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, John L. Lewis, IV, of Geneseo, her daughter, Skylar Lewis, of Geneseo, her father Gerald Cooper, of Hampton, her brother, Dennis Reid (Catherine) Cooper, West Bend, Wisconsin, her sister, Barbara (Mikey) Hefilin, El Paso, Arkansas, twin sister, Deana Safronv, of Moline, and her brother, Gary (Harmony) Cooper, Hampton, many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mearlene Cooper and her grandparents
