Darlene Hemm Obituary
Darlene L. Hemm, 82, of Colona, IL, died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Good Samaritan Home, Geneseo, IL. Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 5:00 7:00 p.m. with services on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline, IL. Rev. Jerry Helms will officiate. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
Darlene was born February 18, 1931 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Mervin and Lula (Clark) Hemm. She worked at Desaulners Printing. She was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Moline. Darlene also loved to travel with her friend, Margaret.
She is survived by her sister, Bertha Brokaw, Geneseo, a life time friend, Margaret Morden and a host of nieces and nephews.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Claude Hemm, John Hemm, Margaret Simler, Art Hemm, Alma Mills, Leo Hemm, Betty Lee, Mary Lou Beechamp and Junior Hemm.
