Deonta Rashad Robinson Sr.

Deonta R. Robinson, Sr., 31, of Rock Island, Illinois passed away Monday February 24, 2025.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Kavanaugh’s Hilltop, Bar & Grill, Rock Island, Illinois.

Deonta Rashad Robinson was born February 17, 1994 in Joliet, Illinois; the son of Leethen Foxworth and Angela Robinson.  He was a 2012 Joliet Central High School graduate.  Deonta married Daysha Conroy, August 29, 2020 in Rock Island, Illinois. He worked for Cantrell’s Towing and Recovery, Colona, Illinois as heavy wrecker tow operator. 

Deonta enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. He loved to ride horses with his children. Deonta was a country boy at heart; he wore his cowboy boots all the time.  He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. 

Deonta was always there for those who either needed a helping hand or a listening ear.  He was a hard worker that never said no and always shined in any field entered into.  His smile and goofiness was contagious to those he graced with it.  He will be dearly missed by all of his loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Daysha Conroy, Rock Island, his children, Isabella Robinson, Atlanta, Illinois, Deonta Robinson, Jr., Della Robinson, and Mallaya Barber, all of Rock Island, his father, Leethen Foxworth, his mother, Angela Robinson, his siblings, Johnna Garrett,  Joliet, Illinois, Kohlton Crowder,  Joliet, Illinois, Leeya Foxworth,  FL, maternal grandparents, Johnny and Sandra Ballard, Joliet, Illinois, and  a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
