Diane Carlson Obituary
Diane K. Carlson, 73, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2014 at 4:00 6:00 p.m. with services following at 6:00 p.m. at The Apostolic Sanctuary, Silvis. Rev. Gary Randol will officiate. Burial will be Tuesday, December 2 at the Rock Island National Cemetery, at 10:30 a. m. Please be at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline no later than 9:45 a.m.
Diane was born March 4, 1941 in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Elmer J. and Daisy M. (Brewer) Kallenberger. She married Ronald E. Carlson October 31, 1958. He preceded her in death in 2010. She was a presser at Sanitary Cleaners, Rock Island for 20 years, retiring in 2001.
She loved visiting with friends, reading, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles and embroidery. Diane was an active member of The Apostolic Sanctuary, where she previously taught Sunday School and was a Church Secretary.
She is survived by her daughter, Starr (Keith) Sparrowgrove, Carbon Cliff, IL, sister, Judy (Dave) Grattan, Wisconsin, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronnie, 2 children, Steven and Chris.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
