Dorothy Lister Obituary
Dorothy M. Lister, 83, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 10:00 11:00 a.m. at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Barbara Marlin will officiate. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, IA.
Dorothy was born October 4, 1930 in Princeton, IA, the daughter of John and Hazel (Gilbert) Fisher. She married George Lister on November 27, 1951 in Ava, Missouri and together they worked at their business of Lister Construction. She loved spending time outdoors, being with her family and traveling.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Susan) Lister, Gary (Eileen) Lister, both of East Moline, daughters, Pamela (Ray Meyers) Lister VanRycke, East Moline, Diane Lister Fierce, Tucson, AZ, Diane McIntire, Houston, TX, 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brothers, Jack (Joann) Fisher, Cedar Rapids, IA, and Bill (Pat) Fisher, LeClaire, IA, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Brian, daughters, Deborah Wasson and Linda Lister.
