Dorraine Young, 54, of East Moline, IL, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline, IL, with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Rev. David Smith, officiant.

Dorraine was born October 10, 1962, in Moline, IL, daughter of Harry Ronald and Betty (Eklof) Johnston. She was adopted at the age of six and raised by Jeff and Barbara Heatherly. Dorraine married Dwayne Young on September 6, 2003 in East Moline.

Dorraine enjoyed crocheting, dancing, riding her bike and going fishing with her husband. She loved spending time with her family and going to church.

Dorraine leaves to cherish her memories her husband; Dwayne Young, East Moline, IL; sons, Brit Atchison, Bloomington, IL, Tommy; daughters, Holly, Ginger (Josh) Lane, Silvis, IL; brothers, Ronald Ende, St. Louis, MO, Edward Johnston, Colona, IL; sisters, Charlotte Rogers, Las Cruces, NM, Anna Brasmer, Milan, IL, Bernadine King, East Moline, IL, Rose Elmore, East Moline, IL; 6 grandchildren; a host of nephews and nieces; and a very special friend, Donna Osborn.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Betty Johnston, adopted parents, Jeff and Barbara Heatherly.
