Esther Rowe Obituary
Esther L. Rowe, 71, of Moline, passed away, Saturday, February 6, 2021, at her home.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd, 1902-3rd Avenue, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Esther Lucille Hopkins was born August 5, 1949 in Moline, IL; the daughter of Maurice and Donzella (Lawrence) Hopkins. She attended Hyde Park High School, Chicago, IL. Esther worked as an underwriter for Kemper Insurance last working in 2010.
Esther enjoyed shopping, dancing with friends, and working on her computer. She loved to play cards with close friends and family. Esther will be remembered as a great sister and great friend.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Derrick Hopkins, Normal, IL,
her brother, Bruce (Lynda) Miller, Houston, TX, her sister, Donzella (Henry) Hall, East Moline, her brother, Duane (Patricia) Hopkins, Goodyear, AZ, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friends, Sharon Webb, Carolyn Bibbs, and Janice Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Hopkins and Donzella Commodore, her sister, Darlene Watson, and her brother, Maurice Hopkins, Jr.
