Ethel Mary (Girt) Stone

Ethel (Girt) Stone, 85, of East Moline passed away July 12th at her home.
In accordance to her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services.

Ethel was born January 7, 1937 to Logan and Alice (Depaepe) Girt in East Moline, IL.  In her younger years she enjoyed a career as a practical nurse for Dr Barwafuser, Moline, until he retired. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and crafts. She loved her fur babies and watching the hummingbirds outside her window.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Debbie Harris (Dave Washburn) Moline, IL, daughter, Rhonda Stone, East Moline, and son Bryan (Diane) Stone, Rosiclare, Illinois. She has 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Richard and Charles Girt.
