Gary Alan Green

Gary Green, 60, of Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at home.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.   Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline is assisting the family.   Memorials may be made to the family.

Gary was born April 12, 1958, Moline, IL, to Lanny “Pork” Lee Green and Judith Lynn Smith Green.  He graduated from United Township High School, the class of 1976.  Gary worked in maintenance 37 years for the City of East Moline, last working in 2013.   

Gary enjoyed football, racing and riding his bike.  A big joy for him was sitting in the backyard with his friends.

He is survived by sons; Christopher (Annie Stutzel) Green, Moline, Joshua (Monica) Evans, East Moline, daughter; Breanna (Steven) Downey, East Moline, grandchildren; Kaylynn, Lyrik, Aubreanna, Jaiden, Harlee, Ryker, Khaleesi, brothers; Curt (Kris) Green, East Moline, Jeff (Ranae) Green, Silvis.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
