Gerald Lee Fallon

Gerald L. Fallon, 67, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at his home.

Private graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery, Moline.  Cremation rites will be accorded.

Gerald Lee Fallon was born July 1, 1955 in Moline, Illinois; the third child of Issiah and Charlotte (Poindexter) Fallon.  He was a 1975 graduate of United Township High School.  Gerald worked as a custodian.  He was baptized at an early age at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, East Moline.  Gerald was unofficially and lovingly called “Deacon Fallon”.  He loved being active in the church.  Gerald was a life-long service member; he helped anyone around him.  He was well known; everyone knew him.  Gerald loved to cook and eat.  He was always the practical joker; he enjoyed the company of family and friends. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, David (Darlene), Marysville, WA, Theresa Mitchell, East Moline, Linda (Justin) Carlson, East Moline, and Rita Fallon, East Moline, his uncle, Reid (Carol) Poindexter, Las Vegas, NV, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Brian Fallon.
