Grace Springer Obituary
Grace Elizabeth Springer, 92, of Silvis, IL, died Friday, March 29, 2013 at Aspen Rehab and Health Care, Silvis. There will be a graveside service Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Macomb, IL. Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, East Moline, is assisting the family.
Grace was born August 12, 1920, Macomb, IL, the daughter of Norris Lee and Sylvia (Young) Mason. She worked in process control for General Electric in Morrison, IL for 10 years, retiring in 1982.
She was a former member of the Nazarene Church in Macomb and also a member of Colona Southern Baptist. She enjoyed embroidery, needlepoint and fishing.
Grace is survived by her son, David Richard Springer, East Moline, 2 granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren and a niece and 2 nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Carrol Lee Mason.
