Harley Garmon Obituary
Harley E. Garmon, 83, of Galesburg, IL, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at Marigold Rehab and Health Care Center, Galesburg. Cremation rites will be accorded and private services at a later date.
Harley was born Nov. 25, 1928 in Rock Island, the son of Arlie B. and Edna B. (Jennings) Garmon. He married Marjorie Timm and later married Parkie Yankee. Harley was a train engineer for the Rock Island Railroad. He enjoyed working on cars, loved kids, and spending time traveling.
He is survived by sons, Steven (Deb), Groton, CT, Barry, Colona, IL, Michael, Kansas City, KS, daughter, Debra Westlund, Seattle, WA, 7 grandchildren and sister, Doris (Ron) Evans, Muscatine, IA.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Parkie.
