Harry E Sedgwick

Harry E. Sedgwick, 71, of Hampton, IL, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at his home. Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, 5:00 8:00 p.m. at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline, with services on Friday, March 1, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Paul Lindblad will officiate. Burial is in Hampton Township Cemetery following services.

Harry was born April 7, 1941 in Rock Island, the son of Francis W. and Helen L. (Pouder) Sedgwick. He married Georganna Meyers at St. Marys on November 4, 1961. He was a driver for UPS for 26 years retiring in 1994.

Harry loved people and telling jokes. He liked all sports and Nascar. Harry was a true family man who loved his family dearly. He will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Georganna, son, Joe (Tammy) Sedgwick, Lost Nation, IA, daughters, Kelly (Mike) Chase, Hampton, IL, Donna Sedgwick, Bedford, TX, Victoria Cannon, and boyfriend Mac McQueen, East Moline, grandchildren, Amanda (Bradi) Kipper, Bettendorf, Annajo Sedgwick, Davenport, Christopher Harvey, East Moline, Autumn Sedgwick, Lost Nation, IA, Carson Harvey, East Moline, Bryce Chase, Hampton, Austin Sedgwick, Lost Nation, 2 great grandsons, Isaac and Owen Kipper, Bettendorf, and baby boy to join the family in May, sisters, Dixie Kelley, Moline and Emma Sue (David) Goetz, Bettendorf.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
