Irma Garrison

Irma Garrison, 83, of East Moline, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at her home.

There will be no services, cremation rites were accorded.

Irma was born March 9, 1933, in Metropolis, IL, the daughter of Jessie and Elsie (Rigsby) Woodworth. She married Connie Garrison. He preceded her in death.

Irma enjoyed going shopping, yard sales, and antique stores. She was instrumental in establishing a Youth Center on Campbells Island. Irma also enjoyed going fishing in her early years and she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Candy) Garrison, Campbells Island, IL; daughter, Coleen (Mitchell) Norin, Cambridge, IL; grandchildren, Pansie Lilley, Merrillville, IN, Jake Norin, Cambridge, IL, Brittani Schumacher, Silvis, IL, Tracey Carwyle, Streator, IL, Chris Rada, TN; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy (Diane) Woodworth, Silvis, IL, Jack Woodworth, FL, Dan Woodworth, East Moline, IL; sisters, Rose (Mike) Dawson, Campbells Island, IL, Alice Ragsdale, East Moline, IL, Linda Groom, Galesburg, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Connie, brothers and sisters.
