Joseph Patrick Smith

Joseph P. Smith, 63, of East Moline, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport, IA.

There will be no services.  Cremation rites will be accorded.

Joseph was born December 30, 1955 in Moline; the son of John Jacob Smith and Jolene Frances Murphy Smith.  Joe was a bartender for many years.  He was an avid NASCAR race car fan.  Joe loved them CUBS!

Those left to cherish his memories are his children; Jill Marie(Jerry) Quintel, Albuquerque, NM, Joe Smith, Tyler Smith,  East Moline; two grandchildren; brother, John W(Joyce) Smith, Moline; sisters, Lynda Beard, Cordova, Barbara (Joe) Jordan, Moline, and Annette (Richard) Jones, East Moline; finance,  May Kay Parker, East Moline, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Donald, Ivan, and Allan Smith, sister, Patricia Smith Bengston.
