Katherine Franklin Obituary
Katherine Irene Franklin, 106, of Moline, IL died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at her home. Visitation will be Saturday, October 26, 10:00 11:00 a.m., with services following at 11:00 a. m., at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, East Moline. Rev. P. Wonder Harris will officiate. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline is handling the arrangements.
Katherine was born September 14, 1907, Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Susan (Jordon) and Rev. Aaron Adams. In 1945 she married Mace Franklin in California who preceded her in death in 1986. She was a daycare giver and homemaker. Katherine was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her niece, Mary Alice (Woodrow) Smith, Las Vegas, NV, nephew, Lawrence L. Pollard, Moline, IL, ex wife, Annette, a host of nieces, nephews and special friends, Mary Kmoc, Jerri Crabtree and Gregory Williams.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
