Laura A. Nichols 78, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus, Silvis.
There will be no services. Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Hampton Township Cemetery.
Laura Ann Knox Nichols was born October 28, 1943 in Moline: the daughter of Clyde and Agnes (Ziegenhorn) Knox. She grew up on Campbell’s Island. Laura was a resident of Streed Tower, East Moline, for over twenty-five years. Laura was a quiet, private person. She enjoyed puzzle books and watching her favorite TV programs.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and his wife, Eddie and Vanessa Huskey, Jefferson City, MO, her daughter and her husband, Lisa and Michael Morris, Auxvasse, MO. nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Joey Huskey, three sisters, one brother, two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
