Loretta Ann Owen, 71, of Aledo, Illinois, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Unitypoint Health, Rock Island, Illinois.
There will be no services. Cremations rites have been accorded.
Loretta Ann Cox was born April 19, 1949 in Harrisburg, Illinois; the daughter of Jesse and Marie (Scoggins) Cox. She married Denizel L. Owen April 18, 1980 in Harrisburg, Illinois. He passed June 5, 2018. Loretta worked in home health care before retiring in 2002. She enjoyed watching TV, especially “The Golden Girls”. Loretta loved being with family and friends.
Loretta is survived by her sons, Steven Owen and his wife, Tammy, Sherrard, Illinois, Charlie Blue, Evansville, Indiana, and Timmy Blue, her grandchildren, Laney Owen, Sherrard, and Walker Hicks, Harrisburg, Illinois, her sisters, Cathy Throgmorton, Nashville, Tennessee, Joy Anderson, Jacksonville, Florida, and Audrey Butterfuss, Jacksonville, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband
