Mary Louise (Blair) Lee

Mary L.. Lee, of Hillsdale, Illinois, passed on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at UnityPoint Medical Center, Rock Island, Illinois.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2021 at Hampton Township Cemetery, Hampton, Illinois.  Pastor Jerry Helms will officiate.

Mary Louise Blair was born May 15, 1929 in Bettendorf, Iowa; the daughter of Robert Perry and Ruth Mildred (Wise) Blair.  She married Arthur L. Lee June 11, 1946 in East Moline.  He passed July 25, 2009. Mary was a member of Cross Roads Church, Moline, Illinois.  In her younger years she enjoyed vegetable gardening and canning.  “In her day” she was a great dancer.  Mary was an avid quilter; she enjoyed making quilts for her entire family.  Crafting was also a joy to her.  Mary loved her family and her church family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Steven (Cindy) Lee, Geneseo, Illinois, Richard (Carolyn) Lee, St. Cloud, Florida, Perry Lee, Hillsdale, Illinois, and Michael Lee, Davenport, Iowa, her daughter, Leanne (Denver) Henson, Fredrickstown, Missouri, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Blair, her husband, Arthur Lee, her son Darrell Thomas Lee, three sisters, and 2 brothers.
