Marybelle June (Deeks) Garrett

Marybelle J. Garrett, 79, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021, at Centennial Rehab and Healthcare, Moline.

There will be no services.  Cremation rites will be accorded.

Marybelle June Deeks was born May 2, 1941 in Denver Colorado; the daughter of George and Pearl (Post) Deeks.  Marybelle was educated in the Denver Colorado area.  She married George Deeks August of 1959 in Colorado.  Marybelle was a homemaker. 

Marybelle loved to draw and do needlepoint.  Marybelle enjoyed being with family.  Her grandchildren were very special to her.  Marybelle was well loved and she will be missed by her loving family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Terry Yenor, of East Moline, Rose Marie Griffith, of Los Alimitos, California, Hazel June Tierney, of Ontario, California, Susan Kay Garcia, of Downey, California, and Ingred Danielle Garrett, of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, 25 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and her brother, William Deeks, of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Sherry Conium, and half-sister, Debra Eldridge.
