Minnie Patrick Obituary
Minnie L. Patrick, 59, of Davenport, IA, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at her home with family around her. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 6, 2013, from 1:00 3:00 p.m., at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline, IL. Memorial Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Kenneth Porter will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Minnie was born August 24, 1953, in DeKalb, Mississippi, the daughter of Roosevelt and Hattie (Morton) Carpenter. She worked at the Crow Valley Golf Club for 16 years. Minnie liked to read books and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching soaps.
She is survived by her sons, Trimale (Laura) Patrick, DeAnthony Patrick, grandsons, Sir Anthony Patrick, Travale Patrick and Dominick Patrick, granddaughters, Tratora and Traniya Patrick, all of Davenport, brothers, Robert Blanks, Rock Island, Crawford Blanks, and James (Jenn) Carpenter, both of Davenport, sisters, Leslie Granger, Philadelphia, MS, Mary Carpenter, East Moline, a host of nieces and nephews, and very special friends, Willie Eubanks and Joyce Edwards.
She is preceded in death by parents, brother, Frank Carpenter, great nephew, Lashawn Ford, and nephew, Robert Blanks.
