Nestor Moran Obituary
Nestor Moran, 69, of East Moline, IL, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, 2012, 4:00 7:00 p.m. at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline, with services on Friday, March 30, 2012, 11:00 a.m. Pastor Rick McGough and Rev. Adrian Pena will officiate. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
Nestor was born October 31, 1942 in Esperanza, Puebla, Mexico,to Salvador and Lilia (Sanchez) Moran. He married Genoveva (Santos) Moran. Nestor was an iron pourer at John Deere Foundry.
He enjoyed working in the yard, always busy with a home project, helping a neighbor or just spending time with his family. He always kept his cars clean.
He is survived by his wife, Eva, son, Rolando Noel Moran, East Moline, daughter, Blanca (Alvaro) Rodriguez-Moran, Moline, stepsons, Marco Antonio Montes De Oca, Mexico, Ramon Del Rio, and Gabriel Del Rio, both of East Moline, grandchildren, Daisy Moran, Pablo Rodriguez, both of Moline, Cameron Jonathan Moran, East Moline, Antonio Montes De Oca and Francisco Montes De Oca, both of Mexico, Brianna Martin, Gabriel Del Rio Jr. and Ramon Del Rio Jr., all of East Moline, 2 great grandchildren, brothers, Salvador (Rosa) Moran, Mexico, Thomas (Yolanda) Moran, Moline, Antonio (Rosalinda) Moran, Noel Moran, and sister, Carolina Moran, all of Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Rolando, and stepdaughter, Maria.
