Odis Roberts

Odis Roberts, 51, of Rock Island, passed away, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island, Illinois.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd, East Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Don Bailey, Associate Pastor, will officiate.  Cremation rites have been accorded. 

Odis was born May 19, 1971 in Rock Island; the son of Barbara (Young) Roberts. He graduated with an associate degree in culinary arts.  He last worked for Donut Delite, Moline, and the former Rosewood Care Center, Moline. 

Odis loved to cook and bake for family and friends.  He enjoyed helping other people.  Odis enjoyed spending time with his children.  He will be remembered as a good man who volunteered his time at Christian Care, Rock Island.  Odis was selected by the local newspaper as having the most volunteering hours. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Barbara Roberts, East Moline, daughter, Trisha Roberts, Moline, son Nathaniel Roberts, Moline, six grandchildren, his brother, TJ (Stephanie) Roberts, Arkansas, his brother, Sean Roberts, Moline, his sister, Jennifer Puifler, Georgia, and best friends, Steve Clark, and Timothy Swanson.
