Opal L Ingle

Opal L. Ingle, 84, of Silvis, IL, died Friday, December 5, 2014 at Trinity Rock Island. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 10:00 11:00 a.m., with services following at 11:00 a.m. at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline. Her son, Rev. Waylon Ingle will officiate. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery, Orion, following services.

Opal was born September 12, 1930 in Stratford, OK, the daughter of Clarence and Alma Jewell (Moore) Prescott. She married Robert Hansel Ingle on September 10, 1946 and preceded her in death August 5, 1974. Opal was a nurses aid for the Rock Island Care Center for 8 years, 4 months, retiring in 1989.

She loved church, going out to eat and shopping. Opal loved her family and family gatherings and enjoyed just going.

She is survived by her sons, Rev. Waylon (Dianna) Ingle. Iola, Kansas, Ira (Debbie) Ingle, Olathe, Kansas, daughters, Patricia Engholm, Moline, IL, Rosetta (Mike) Thomas, Colona, IL,brothers, Kenny and Louis (Linda) Prescott and sister, Wanda Sanders. 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
