Jimmy was a minister for 51 years. He was the Pastor of Mount Zion Free Community Church for 46½ years.
Jimmy worked at John Deere for 31½ years. He worked as a repairman and alcohol and drug representative. Jimmy retired in 1995.
He is survived by his loving wife, Glenna Brown, his two daughters, Frankie (Edward) Ford and Bonnie June Brown, his daughter/granddaughter, Brittnie (Joey) Chavez-Kuehl, his five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Benton and Carrie Brown, his brothers, Billy Joe and Benton Edward, his sisters, Frankie and Lillian, son-in-law, Nicholas Martin Chavez, and his infant grandson, Baby Gabriel Brown.
