Roberta Hansen Obituary
Roberta L. Bobbie Hansen, 73, of Hampton, IL, died Monday, January 26, 2015 at her home. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 10:00 11:00 a. m. at Hampton United Methodist Church, with a memorial service following at 11:00 a. m. Rev. Nikki Ross Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in Hampton Township Cemetery after services. Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd. is assisting the family.S
Bobbie was born March 9, 1941 in Moline, the daughter of Floyd Arthur and Ruby Pearl Griffin Lang. She married Richard Hansen on August 14, 1981 who preceded her in death on January 22, 1996. She was a legal secretary for several attorneys for 35 years, retiring in 1998.
Years ago she was a member of the HOG Club. Bobbie belonged to Hampton United Methodist Church for 59 years and taught Sunday School for 25 years and was very active with the State and National Association of Legal Secretaries.
She is survived by a son, John Hansen, Moline, IL and stepchildren, Debbie, Christine, Joseph and William.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard and sister, Guinevere.
