Robyn Kay Weimer 68, of East Moline passed away on July 1, 2024 at 6:15a.m. at Hope Creek Care Center of East Moline.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024 at The Sanctuary of Quad Cities, Silvis. Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to The Sanctuary Quad Cities, Silvis, Illinois.
Robyn Kay Theuninck was born April 18,1956 in Moline IL; daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Theuninck. Robyn was a 1974 graduate of United Township High School, East Moline, IL. She married Jimmie Weimer September 1, 1984, in Colona, Illinois. Robyn enjoyed being outdoors camping, hiking and fishing with her family. She worked for many years at the church in the nursery, bus ministry, and comfort ministry. For many years Robyn worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide in hospital facilities and long-term care centers. Robyn loved to sit with a good book and some good chocolates. She had a passion for native American culture and a huge love for cats.
She is survived by her daughter Jackie (Fernando) Juarez of Moline, brothers Robert (Lori) Theuninck of Moline, Randy Theuninck of East Moline, step-son Patrick (Kim) Phillips of Milan, grandchildren Fernando Jr, Yasmin Rosa Juarez, and Noel Juarez of Moline, host of several nieces and nephews
Robyn is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Jimmie Weimer, second husband, Willie Phillips, daughter, Jennifer Weimer, sister, Terry Lane, and brother-in-law, Mark Lane.
