Rosalie (Woodworth) Dawson

Rosalie Dawson, 85, of East Moline, passed away on Thursday, February, 13, 2025 at her home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Mt. Zion Community Free Church, Campbell’s Island, East Moline, IL.

Rosalie was born  August 5, 1939 in Metropolis, Illinois: the daughter of Jessie and Elsie (Rigsby) Woodworth.  She attended East Moline High School.  Rosalie later became a realtor.   

Rosalie was a long-time member of Mt. Zion Community Free Church, Campbell’s Island, East Moline, Illinois. She was the cornerstone of the family; she was care taker for her family.  Rosalie will be remembered as a devoted wife and mom. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 45 years, Michael Dawson of East Moline, her children, Christopher (Corrinne) Humphrey of Davenport, IA, and Christine Marcinko of East Moline, IL, her grandchild, Rion Marcinko, her siblings, Alice Ragsdale of East Moline, IL, Dan Woodworth of East Moline, Jimmy Woodworth of Silvis, IL, Jack Woodworth of Ocala, FL and Linda Groom of Moline, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Elsie Woodworth, her daughter, Jackie Humphrey, her sisters, Brenda Woodworth, and Irma Garrison, her brothers Bruce Woodworth, and Tom Woodworth.
