Samuel Oliver James

Samuel O. James, 32, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in East Moline.

There will be no services.  Cremation rites will be accorded.

Samuel Oliver James was born September 11, 1990 in Moline; the son of Trent Stark James and Kandy (Foster) Schneider-James. As a child, he enjoyed skate boarding and riding his bike.  Sam attended Orion High School.  He was a big country and rap music fan.  Sam loved to sing, especially around the house. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Trent Stark James, Oklahoma, and Kandy Schneider-James, East Moline, Illinois, his brother, Matthew (Amber) Schneider, Colona, Illinois, his nephews, Tyler Schneider, Silvis, Illinois, and Tate Schneider, Colona, Illinois, his maternal grandfather, Sherman Van Dusen, Davenport, Iowa, his aunt Penny Smith, Hammond, Wisconsin, his uncle, Rodney Foster, Stockton, California, host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Virginia Van Dusen, his paternal grandparent, McCoy and Betty James, and his uncle, Charles James.
