Sharonda Lynn “Ronnie” Jackson

Sharonda Lynn “Ronnie” Jackson, beloved mother, daughter, and sister passed away suddenly on Dec. 19^th, 2021 in St. Paul, MN where she resided, age 52.  

Born on May 1^st, 1969 to Margaret Diana Taite and Ernest Jackson Jr at Moline Public Hospital.  Sharonda was raised in Geneseo and graduated from Geneseo High in 1987.  She worked as a Medical Assistant at Genesis Health Group after successfully attending Hamilton Technical College and later began working for herself as an in-home medical care specialist.    

A beautiful, kind hearted woman who will always be remembered for her big smile and spontaneity.  Her bravery and curiosity took her many places and allowed her to meet so many wonderful people along the way.  To know her was to become family.  A fighter until the end, she will be missed dearly.

Sharonda leaves behind her three daughters Charise, Sharnette, and Shantel Jackson, her father, Ernest Jackson Jr.; her grandbabies, Deamonte and Kalia Jackson, her sister, Ashley Jackson, and her brothers, Anthony Jordan, Tyrone, Jermane, and Andre Jackson. 

She will be welcomed in Heaven by her Mother Margret Diana Taite. 

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 29, 2021 at Hampton Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, 1902-3^rd Avenue East Moline.  Rev. Kenneth Porter will officiate.
