Sharron Yvone (Dunbar) Tingle

Sharron Y. Tingle, 68, of Rock Island, passed away at her home, Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Services will be 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 22, 2021 at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., 1902-3^rd Avenue, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Rev. P.W. Harris will officiate.  Cremation rites will be accorded after services.  Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, East Moline.

Sharron Yvone Dunbar was born March 4, 1953 at Brookport, Illinois: the daughter of Clarence Henry and Francis Elizabeth (Williams) Dunbar.  She was educated in the Brookport, Illinois area.  Sharron married Harmon Tingle February 24, 1996 in Rock Island.  He passed March 4, 2009.  She was a homemaker.  She enjoyed taking care of children and spending time with family.  Sharron was an excellent cook and baker.  She was known for her corn bread, sweet potato pie, blackberry and peach cobbler.  Sharron was a long-time member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, East Moline.

Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Mary Young, Davenport, Iowa, Donnie (Patricia) Dunbar, Ankeny, Iowa, Carolyn (Steven) Gabriel, Rock Island, Ricky (Georgina) Dunbar, Stone Mountain, Georgia, Pamela Tyson, Metropolis, Illinois, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Wendell Dunbar, Clarence Dunbar, Jr., Paul Dunbar, Ollie Mae Eskridge, Virginia Hester, Thelma Lorraine Shelton, Shirley Dunbar Mc Millian, Joann Dunbar,and Larry Dunbar.
