Sidney McKinley Obituary
Sidney Grant McKinley, 57, of Rock Island, passed away on March 25, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. Cremation rites were accorded. A Memorial Service will be April 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God, East Moline. Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, E. Moline is assisting the family.
He was born on December 19, 1956 in Rock Island to Betty Scott and Robert McKinley. He attended Rock Island schools and graduated in 1975 also attending Brown/Mackie College, earning him an Accounting degree. He was employed at the Casino Rock Island for a few years. He enjoyed reading, bowling with his dad and brother, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Betty, sisters, Sharon (Mike) Jaster, Rock Island, Kandi Martin, Yorkville, brothers, Gary (Vickie), Cordova, Michael (Madonna) McKinley, Rock Island and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, baby sister and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the family.
